FOIA Challenges

What are the top FOIA challenges agencies are faced with in 2021? The most common response was reviewing records, followed by dealing with multiple data sources.

Information Governance

Professionals at government agencies who handle data and records are not only dealing with a lot of challenges, they’re also juggling various priorities related to information governance. The most commonly cited one was records and information management.

New Technologies

More than half the government agencies surveyed said they are mainly interested in a hybrid of desktop and cloud technology, while about 1/3 said they’re primarily interested in cloud technology. Only about 20% are focused on on-premises technology.
